The Landsat 10 Spacecraft solicitation at NASA GODDARD SPACE FLIGHT CENTER closes August 31, among the week's nearest deadlines. Behind it, Launch Vehicle Probabilistic Reliability Risk Analysis Services closes September 11, with Ground Station as a Service carrying the same closing date. Our count for the week is 54 new solicitations, and Space and Spacecraft Systems Design closes September 10 for anyone weighing both.

The company move

Karman fell hardest; Blue Origin shed the most listings

Karman Holdings fell 14.5% between August 24 and August 30, the largest weekly price move in our list. The same company shows two 8-K filing entries dated August 29.

On hiring, Blue Origin moved most: 201 listings appeared and 264 were removed across the week, including 130 removals in a single day. Rocket Lab's flow ran quieter, 31 appeared and 27 removed, a net gain of four, and its Electron flight Owl Around The World (StriX Launch 11) is scheduled for August 31. Rocket Lab also appears repeatedly in the filings list on the same date, all of them Form 4s.

The money

A $500M change-log entry against a zero-award week

Our totals for the week show zero awards and zero award dollars. The award change log is busier, and its largest entry is not reflected in that weekly total: RAYTHEON COMPANY was awarded $500M in a change logged August 29. LOCKHEED MARTIN CORPORATION's award value moved from $58M to $83M and then to $62M on August 29, with further moves between $62M and $83M logged on August 30. KONGSBERG DEFENCE & AEROSPACE AS's award moved from $46M to $55M on August 29.

The bigger public-money news sat in the story file: ESA's award of 544 million euros in European Launcher Challenge contracts was reported August 27, and an executive order to establish a U.S. Space Academy was reported August 29. On ownership, LONGVIEW ASSET MANAGEMENT, LLC disclosed a stake in General Dynamics on August 29.

The launch record

Six successful flights and a Crew-13 slip

Six orbital launches flew this week, each marked successful. The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope went from Go to Success on Falcon Heavy on August 30, and Ariane 62 carried MTG-I2 on August 27. Starlink Group 15-22 and Starlink Group 10-49 also flew, along with a Long March 6C flight and Soyuz 2.1b/Fregat with Glonass-K1 No. 19.

Schedule movement ran the other way. Crew-13 slipped 17 days and went from Go to TBD on August 30. SDA Tranche 1 Tracking Layer A slipped 92 days, and Long March 12A Flight 2 slipped 30 days. Six launches are scheduled for the coming week.
