A science agency shops for Starlink
The National Science Foundation posted a procurement for Starlink low Earth orbit satellite communications equipment and service on July 24, and it closes July 29. The posting names Starlink in its title and points to attachments for everything else, so the hour it takes to read those is the price of knowing whether it fits. The X Band Kit sources sought for the Panther II man-portable VSAT closes a day earlier, on July 28.

The company move
Blue Origin fills the job board
Blue Origin entered the week's record with 320 live listings against 20 removed, the largest count of newly observed listings on our board. CesiumAstro entered with 255, Sierra Space with 165, Moog Space and Defense with 138, Sierra Nevada Corporation with 133, and Hadrian with 127. The record also showed 2,026 job removals at SpaceX this week. Those were ours: a configuration edit on July 25 dropped SpaceX from our job collector, and its board never changed. The configuration is restored and the listings are back.

The money
Defense primes moved most on the tape
No federal award in our record carries a signing date from this week. The movement was in prices: Lockheed Martin rose 14.3% between July 20 and July 27, RTX rose 9.4%, Airbus rose 7.4%, and L3Harris Technologies rose 7%. Planet Labs fell 7.6% and Intuitive Machines fell 6.6% over the same days. These are readings from our own daily record, price direction and nothing more.

Seven flights, seven successes
Every orbital launch in the record this week succeeded: seven flights, four of them by SpaceX, including Starship Flight 13 on July 24. CAS Space flew Kinetica 1 with 5 satellites, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation flew Tianlian 2-06 on a Long March 3B/E, and Orienspace Technology flew Gravity-1 with 9 satellites. The coming week holds 9 scheduled launches, among them three Electron flights by Rocket Lab posted for July 31 and a Mir demo flight by the Agency for Defense Development.
